Schulman Theatres
City Lights Theatres

History
The Schulman family has a long history in motion picture exhibition.  It started in 1926 when Morris Schulman moved to Bryan, Texas, and bought the Dixie and Queen Theaters.  He later opened the Palace Theater, also in Bryan.  As the years passed, drive-ins and multiplexes were built, bought, and sold.  Schulman Theatres remains in the family and continues today, operating two facilities in east Texas - the Dogwood 6 in Palestine and the Ritz Theatre in Crockett, Texas.

Vision
Schulman Partners continues the Schulman Theatres legacy, forming a new partnership and launching a new theater circuit called "City Lights Theaters" as part of Strategic Entertainment Group.  The new circuit will feature state-of-the-art stadium seated multiplexes, with art deco architecture and design that recalls the golden age of movie theaters.
